Protest over! CJP delegation meets JP Nadda; clears out Jantar-Mantar

Following intense demonstrations in the national capital, a formal delegation from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) met with Union Minister JP Nadda to submit their official list of demands. Representatives Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka led the delegation during the discussions with the minister. Concurrently, security forces systematically removed CJP protesters from various demonstration sites across the city, successfully vacating the primary protest hub at Jantar Mantar.

In tandem with the clearance of the protest sites, CJP member Abhijit Dipke officially terminated his ongoing hunger strike at Jantar Mantar. The rapid developments prompted immediate security evaluations within the top ranks of the government. This led to a crucial strategy meeting between the Union Home Secretary and the Delhi Police Commissioner, which was also attended by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Chief to review the law and order situation.

The central administration further intensified its internal deliberations as Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a separate high-level meeting that concluded after one hour. While the exact details of the ministerial discussions remain undisclosed, the series of administrative dialogues and the direct meeting between JP Nadda and the CJP delegation indicate a significant shift toward resolving the ongoing agitation.
